So, I have been wanting to get this game for some time because I am a big game player and also have been a fan of Marvel Super Heroes since the early 70's... The figures are all painted (for the most part) to look like Marvel Comics, mid 1980's era, which is fine with me, I don't know some of the new uniforms from the 21st century versions of the heroes anyhow...
But (there is always a 'but' isn't there?), everyone I talk to in my gaming community and a lot of the messages I read online says that this game just blows... "Worst game of the year" "sucked really bad" "worst purchase of 2006", "Couldn't make it through the rule book", etc, etc...
So, is there anyone that can give me a good review on this game, or better yet, has anyone been able to modifiy any of the rules to make this game play better? It looks awesome and has some great looking minis in it, it seems like a waste to me that everyone says it blows...
